EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) or ‘Tapping’ is an easy to learn, powerful tool for clearing the emotional charge on any issue and anchoring in a positive reframe for moving forward. Tapping on Nature’s self-soothing points can bring relief, insights and new perspectives. This combination of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychological concepts has been used to improve health, relationships, financial prosperity, business success and more.
The diagram to the right shows the basic tapping points.
Tap into the power of images to heal!
PTT (Picture Tapping Technique) uses EFT Tapping along with drawing to visualize and clear your feelings about an issue that is troubling in your life. The use of hand-drawn images allows direct access to the subconscious where our unresolved emotions are stored and their healing can take place.
This is not about making art, but about using images to express what you are currently feeling about an issue and then using tapping to clear the charge. There is no need to verbally discuss your feelings, so this is a very safe and private process. It works well with both children and adults. Clients are often surprised by what they draw and how easily they reach a resolution without talking about the issue.
Reduce your stress response!
TTT (Trauma Tapping Technique) is a simple self-help Emotional First Aid tool for reducing the effects of stress and trauma. It is non-verbal so also an excellent tool when someone does not want to talk about their issue.
The Peaceful Heart Network is a non-profit that has taught this technique to some of the most traumatized people in 30 countries around the world. Anyone can learn TTT through their online classes.
There is a free app available in 24 languages that will guide you through the
process. http://www.selfhelpfortrauma.org/
